Stav & I have been talking about doing an indie night in Telford for years now, it never quite happened for one reason or another. The owner of the last place we were talking about doing it decided to sell up and leave so it got put on the back burner.
But now Wellington night club Pussycats Nightclub have decided to give it a go, with Dale and Bevo doing all the promtional leg work and me & Stavros playing tunes.
Clockwork is going to be monthly night and will start this week on Thursday (8th May) and subsequent nights on the first Thursday of each month from then on.
I suppose in a way we’re trying to emulate Blast Off of old (pre EMO!) but with a live element too, the first band playing are a great local group called HEY EDISON, I’m looking forward to hearing them perform.
It’s 2 for 1 on drinks too.

it went well rich ta, not as many people through the door as we’d hoped but we knew it would be a slow burner. it still looked pretty busy. good indie chicks too!
although you cannot see it, a little piece of my heart burst out of my chest. I had always hoped for an indie night for telford, and now it has one. I only wish I could have been there.
