E DAY

I can still hear and feel the noise of the tooth cracking under the strain of the doctors tools. The bits of bone flying out of my mouth. The taste of blood. The high pitched vibration of the drill. The look of sheer enjoyment in the Doctors and nurses eyes. And now it’s gone.

The dentist showed everyone my strange tooth, in many years she said she had not seen on as unusual as this, I let them keep it to show their students. Had I have thought ahead I would have taken a photo. One of the roots was sticking out to the side causing the infection and moon face sydrome (as I like to call it) and the other one went three miles into my gum and had a bulbus bit at the end. I have tried to draw a picture to give you the idea but it’s not very good.

So a week of anti-biotics, painkillers and no booze awaits but the worst of it is over. I’ve got to be honest, for all my shitting myself about it, it wasn’t that bad. You cant help the aprehension I suppose, unless you get really drunk before hand!
