No doubt I’ll have told you in person but I have a wonky eye. It started over a week ago, as I was driving home from work I got double vision, I took the car back to work and got a lift home. The next day I spoke to the doctor on the phone and he arranged for me to go in and see him, had a blood test and wot not and he sent me home after making an appointment at the hospital eye clinic – which isn’t until the 10th October.
Anyway, cut a long story short I’ve now been signed off work for next two weeks, which sounds pretty good but it’s only Monday and I’m bored already, I have to make sure my boredom doesn’t drag me to the pub every afternoon!
I was at home yesterday and I started thinking about Guilty Pleasures, you know, the stuff that you like doing but is slightly embarrassing; I’m gonna start the ball rolling and hopefully you’ll pitch in.
-Talking like I’m on a cookery show when I’m preparing and cooking food

-Taking my laptop to the toilet – you should bare this in mind if I ever speak to you on instant messaging
-The Hills – MTV’s Reality Show about rich good looking L.A girls
-Making screeching tyre noises and car related sound effects whilst I’m driving

I do the cooking thing too….if you can comment on your cooking while actually in the process of cooking you should think yourself very superior.
Dipping a piece of dairy milk into a cup of tea while watching sport, particularly football/Rugby on TV. Then wolfing it down!

An old friend of mine’s housemate used to take his laptop to the toilet with him. We always used to give him dirty looks when he emerged.
I read the paper on the toilet. It’s quite bad when I finish to find that BOTH my housemates are waiting to use the toilet…
