I’ve been wanting to work on a new ‘web project‘ for a while but the great idea I had when I was half pissed the other week keeps eluding me. So today after emails conversations with Fulla and Stavros I think I might imagine what would happen if great historical figures had access to Social Networking tools like Facebook, Myspace, or Twitter; Here’s my first draft – Henry VIII.

We concur!
Bravo
Very good indeed!
Hey, got an email off someone wanting to get in touch with OMR about a post on his blog, can you email me as I’ve lost your address so I can forward it to you.
Cool.
I bet Henry 8th wouldn’t understand the point of Twitter either!
(Still alive)
Did you even take History in school? I thought you were on the Geogrpahy side?
Thanks to Doug Smith I passed my history GCSE. Cheers Doug!
No mate, I didn’t do it. Apart from the first couple of years when we had to do everything. Wished I’d taken it now cause Geography was shit.
Only just started getting into it now, I’m well into the English stuff at the minute, once I’m up on that I have the rest of the world to tackle!
Laughed my Tudor History A-levelled ass off! I wish you’d have been teachin at New College, I’d have learned so much more and perhaps wouldn’t have been so inclined to bunk off to the Kings Head instead of studying uh… Kings heads. Anyway, I’m looking forward to future installments – Adolf is ripe for it when you reach 20th Century.
For any facebook users that want to sign Henry up as a friend – you may want to include a disclaimer so that anybody attempting to ‘poke’ the King of England knows that they risk execution on a charge of high treason…
Haha!
Very good, Sir. If only the infamous ‘shank’ option could be altered to ‘behead’.
