The sun is shining for the third day in a row, it was 30c in places yesterday. Dare we say summer is here?

I used to hate the sun, I hated going out in the sun at all. I would never wear short sleeves or shorts, that all changed after spending 2 weeks in the Canaries last year. It was always too hot to wear sleeves and trousers. I finally got some colour in me.

These days I’m loving it, the sun soaking on your skin just makes you feel great, makes you feel alive or something. I’m not a sunbather and never will be, that’s just stupid and fucking boring. But if someone said “hey merk, wanna come out and sit in the sun” – I’d jump at the chance.

Welcome home summer, come on in and make yourself comfy.

I’ve broken me blog, my archives arent there any more. God knows what I’ve done. I spent about 2 hours trying different things last night to no avail. I’ve asked the lovely people at blogger to help me out. If they come up trumps I’ll send em some chocolates!

This programme never ceases to amaze me, after 15 years it’s still cracking me up time and time again.

Tonight I watched Series 15 Episode 22 – “Fraudcast News”. I’ve lifted the programme description from their site;

When Mr. Burns is reported dead incorrectly, all of the newspapers and news stations decide to report what they really think of him. In order to end the negative view the public has of him, Mr. Burns buys all of media outlets to brainwash the people of Springfield.

Lisa then starts up her newspaper, Burns tries to shut it down, blah blah blah. A good episode, not the best I’ve seen but then this happened. I’ve taken the liberty of chopping it up and uploading it on the web. This of course, means I’ll probably get sued by Fox, but frankly it’s far too great not to share.

Stav told me Wilo the Wisp is coming back to our screens. I loved this when I was a kid. I’ve just been to the official website to take a look and who should greet me but the one and only Evil Edna, only it there was something wrong. Something didn’t seem right. I couldn’t put my finger on it at first but then it hit me.

They’ve turned Evil Edna from an old clapped out Telly to a brand new all singing, all dancing Sony widescreen complete with Digi-Box – This is a travesty. I’m gonna write and complain!

weekends, where do they go? Last time I checked it was Friday afternoon now it’s half 11 on Sunday – the meat is in the oven. My Bro and me ma have gone to some celebrity football thing and I’m chilling out listening to some cracking tunes.

Went to the Crown last night with Stav, Fulla and Austin. Made a great ‘Crown compilation’ 74 minutes of shit hot music – and some Goldie Lookin’ Chain! They’ve finally put Amstel on tap at the Crown and it’s spot on. Not a headache in sight!

Me, Stav and Fulla ended up in Brileighs again. I’m really liking that place. Mainly full of ropey old birds but that makes the occasional fit one one look like a goddess!

LOSER
The best bit about last night? Beating Stavros at pool. I never beat him at pool but last night I pulled some fucking ace shots out of my ass!

Louis Prima is the man, After watching The Jungle Book last year I decided to download some, and the guy was a true genius, such a swing in his music. This trumpeter, band leader, singer and compsoer really had Jazz. You will have heard one of his tunes in a certian Guiness Moth advert. So in 90 mins I’m in South Yorkshire. I register for the festival and head on to the pub to meet Brendon, to cut a long story short we had far too much to drink and ended up in some club full of bass and breaks, not my bag. So I left. There’s a thing about Sheffield, every half decent brid wears the shortest skirt regardless of the weather – it’s fucking ace. I’m a proper legs man so I’m in my element up there.

Saturday
The conference was good and I managed to get there on time and stay awake all day! Come 5pm I was absolutely shattered and decided the best thing to do would be to make a move home. I don’t think I could have handled another night out on the lash at this point.

I got the train at 10 past 8, had to change at Stockport and then get the Virgin Voyager back to Wolverhampton. Birmingham City had played Blackburn yesterday so the train was fully of jolly brummies. Normally I hate Birmingham City and their fans, but It sure was entertaining watching all these pissed footy fans having a great time singing and dancing down the isle!

At wolverhampton (about 10:20pm) I saw more legs! Some bloke who was obviously twatted shouting at people and himself! I also saw some woman who had had been in London to march against Israeli occupation of Palestine. She said shed left Shrewsbury at 5:45am that morning – fair play to her.

By the time I got to my station it was 11pm. I managed to get me dear old mum to pick me up from the station, via the garage, which was nice.

Sunday
I slept, got up, had some lunch, slept again and sat outside drinking 7UP – fucking ace.
